Life Update + A Marketing Summit

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind for me, for two exciting reasons:

One, I packed up my life in Maine and moved to New York City with just two suitcases and a backpack.

Two, in the same week, I flew down to Atlanta for the SAP Product Marketing Summit with Forrester (see pic below).

SAP x Forrester Product Marketing Summit

It was such an energizing experience to represent young marketing talent (#sapnextgen) and connect with incredible product marketers across SAP’s businesses. In just two days, I gained new insights, renewed motivation, and a reminder that—even early in my career—my voice has a seat at the table.

One thing my dad always says stuck with me this week: it’s less about the job title and more about the people you work with. At SAP, I feel lucky to work alongside some truly great people who make that lesson ring true.

For all the reasons above, this issue is a short one—I’m giving myself space to settle into my new home. Don’t worry, though: we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week.

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with the final step of Project Personal Brand Makeover. A polished PDF prompting guide will be coming your way very soon—so stay tuned!

🧩 Project Playground - Build Your Brand Foundation Toolkit

We’ve been exploring how to shape a personal brand that feels future-proof. Now it’s time to turn strategy into practical assets you can actually use. Think of this as your starter kit: bios, visuals, and profile copy that make your brand visible in the world.

Instead of staring at a blank page, here’s a plug-and-play ChatGPT prompt you can drop straight into the tool of your choice:

I want to create my Brand Foundation Toolkit.
Act as my personal brand strategist and generate drafts for me.

Here’s what you need to know:
- My positioning statement: [insert yours]
- My audience: [insert yours]
- My top 3 messaging pillars: [list them]
- My brand voice traits: [list 3–5 traits]

Please create:
1. A **short bio** (1–2 sentences, for social profiles).
2. A **long bio** (1–2 paragraphs, for websites or guest features).
3. Suggested **visual cues** (colors, motifs, style directions that fit my brand essence).
4. An **About page outline** (sections + bullets for what to include).
5. Draft **social profile copy** for LinkedIn and Twitter/X that feels on-brand.

Make everything concise, professional yet human, and aligned with my voice traits.

👩‍🔧 How to use it:

  1. Fill in the blanks with your own details.

  2. Run the prompt.

  3. Save the drafts you like, edit to taste, and boom — you’ve got a toolkit that matches your essence.

This step is about consistency. When your bios, profiles, and visuals line up with your voice, people instantly “get” who you are.

Thanks for tuning in. I’ll see you next week with a full issue!

Best,
Skyler Neal
